What is AIbudget?

AIbudget is production budgeting software for film, TV, and commercial teams. It replaces the combination of outdated legacy tools and fragile Excel spreadsheets that most production teams rely on today with a live, collaborative budget built around AICP-standard categories — the structure your clients, agency partners, and accountants already expect.

Every project opens with a complete budget structure — sections A through P, labor and expenses, fringes and PH&W — pre-wired and ready to fill in. You start bidding, not configuring.

Who Built It

AIbudget was founded by Mike Irving, CEO of FS MEDIA, a Los Angeles-based production company. After years of managing productions with tools that weren't built for the job — desktop software from the nineties, Excel files emailed back and forth — Mike set out to build the budgeting tool he always wished existed.

AIbudget was designed from the inside of a real production company. Every feature starts with the same question: does this make the producer's job easier, faster, or less error-prone?
